University of Kirkuk contributes to a voluntary campaign to increase green areas in the province

Under the auspices of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Sabah Ahmad Ismail and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture Assistant Professor Dr. Dilshad Rasul Aziz, the college announced its contribution to planting (500) trees as part of the campaign launched by the Kokar Organization for Voluntary Work,

to increase the green areas in the province of Kirkuk. The Faculty of Agriculture took an active part by harnessing its human and scientific potential to support and make this campaign successful, indicating that the college will contribute, through its engineering and agricultural cadres, to planting (500) trees (204 Ashtunia, 50 Sobah, 100 Eucalyptus and 100 Mo). Aziz added that the college aspires to achieve the city of Kirkuk world standards in the proportion of green areas, which is estimated at about 12% of the total area of ​​the province, adding that the college is always ready to support, succeed and support all the volunteer campaigns that serve the citizens of the city of Kirkuk Beloved and reflect the civilized image of the university's important role in community service.gardening1
