The university president explained the main reasons for the development of the center, by contributing to the formulation of strategic policies to confront information security, monitoring or evaluating various problems and developing means of addressing them through the search for alternatives and technologies, as well as the lack of research center in the neighboring universities of Kirkuk University.He pointed out that the aim of establishing the center is to create the appropriate environment for the original scientific research by providing the requirements to keep abreast of the technological development, exchange of technical expertise, scientific consultation, encouraging joint cooperation and implementing research projects, training courses and workshops. Providing technical and informational support to government institutions to ensure the development of the concept of e-governance and information security. On the sidelines of the visit, the ministerial committee reviewed the material and human resources available in the college, from laboratories and classrooms, in addition to teaching staff.
