The representative of the Supreme Religious Authority Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai received in his office in the holy city of Karbala, President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Abbas Hassan Taqi.

Sheikh Al-Karbalai expressed his thanks and appreciation to the presidency of the University of Kirkuk for hosting the events of the first cultural week of the holy Husseiniya threshold, wishing the President of the University the continuation of the conciliation and the urgency in performing his duties towards his students and the community service in the province of Kirkuk.For his part, the university president praised the role of the wise authority in promoting community peace and spreading the spirit of tolerance and co-existence among the Iraqi people.
