University of Kirkuk organizes blood donation campaign for Thalassemia patients

Under the patronage and participation of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Dr. Abbas Hassan Taqi. Within the framework of the symposium organized by the University in cooperation with the Department of Health of Kirkuk and the World Health Organization, the University organized a blood donation campaign for Thalassemia patients and cancer with the participation of teachers and students.


The university president said that the campaign aims at establishing a culture of volunteerism by developing awareness and awareness of the importance of donating blood to save the lives of others who need it, and stressing the role of the university in supporting and supporting the cases of incurable diseases.
It is worth mentioning that this campaign is not the first in the university, where the University has carried out many campaigns prior to the donation of blood to the injured of the security forces heroine Alsnofha all, as well as to field visits to hospitals in the province and to provide assistance to the disease.blood01
