The five-day visit will be attended by a number of Azad Islamic University branches in the Iranian provinces, one of the largest universities in Iran, as well as its branches in Britain, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan. The number of students is 1.5 million.

The delegation's curriculum included a visit to the central library of the university, the various central laboratories, the educational hospital equipped with the latest medical equipment, as well as the meeting of the cultural counselor at the Iraqi embassy in Tehran to discuss increasing the prospects of cooperation and coordination of efforts with the Iranian universities. It is hoped that the delegation will visit the university branches in the governorate Tabriz.
