President of Kirkuk University holds a scientific memorandum of understanding with Azad Islamic University in Tehran / Islamic Republic of Iran

The President of the University of Kirkuk, Dr. Abbas Hassan Taqi, expressed his readiness to establish scientific and cultural relations that can be translated into signing memorandums of understanding with Iranian universities that allow the exchange of scientific and academic experiences and sending, receiving and training students of preliminary and higher studies as well as professors.


After his meeting with the President of Azad Islamic University in Tehran, he headed a scientific delegation comprising the assistant president of the university for administrative affairs (Prof. Omar Najmuddin Angeh) and a number of medical group deans, Dr. Kamran Shaker, Dean of the College of Nursing, The College of Engineering, Dr. Adeeb Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education, Dr. Ella Khadr, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Dr. Norhan Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, adding that the University of Kirkuk is continuing to achieve ambitious plans in all fields and the establishment of a scientific basis for real scientific start.
The five-day visit will be attended by a number of Azad Islamic University branches in the Iranian provinces, one of the largest universities in Iran, as well as its branches in Britain, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan. The number of students is 1.5 million.azad2
For his part, the President of Azad Islamic University after signing a memorandum of understanding with the University of Kirkuk that the agreement will open new horizons for the development of cultural and scientific relations with the University of Kirkuk, which witnessed a significant development in all aspects despite the recent establishment, and conversion of scientific agreements for a real paper on the ground contribute to the exchange of ideas And the exchange of experiences available, the exchange of professors and students and training in scientific laboratories, and expressed his readiness to establish strong scientific relations with Iraqi universities.
The delegation's curriculum included a visit to the central library of the university, the various central laboratories, the educational hospital equipped with the latest medical equipment, as well as the meeting of the cultural counselor at the Iraqi embassy in Tehran to discuss increasing the prospects of cooperation and coordination of efforts with the Iranian universities. It is hoped that the delegation will visit the university branches in the governorate Tabriz.azad3
