University of Kirkuk holds a scientific symposium on the occasion of the World Week of antibiotics

Under the auspices and presence of Prof. Dr. Abbas Hassan Taqi, President of the University of Kirkuk and under the supervision of Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Dr. Nurhan Ali Aref held the first scientific seminar on the occasion of the World Week to prevent the dangers of antibiotics in the presence of specialized researchers and a number of associates and students.

The seminar discussed antibiotics and how to avoid them, and the importance of reducing the use of antibiotics to slow the emergence of resistance, as it can not stop completely, but can be slowed and allow more time to discover new types of antibiotics.The seminar aimed to explain the correct way to use antibiotics that have the ability to eliminate bacterial diseases by killing or inhibiting the growth of bacteria causing infection,anti03

and avoiding errors resulting from misuse, especially the increase in the number of antibiotic resistant bacteria that cause the failure of the patient's response to treatment, Community members on how to use antibiotics and to show the importance of adherence to dosages in prescriptions.
