University of Kirkuk holds a scientific symposium on the assessment of levels of pollution in agricultural land

Under the patronage and presence of Mr. Dr. Abbas Hassan Taqi and under the supervision of Dean of the Faculty of Science,

Dr. Nima Ali Ahmed, the Faculty of Science at the University of Kirkuk held its seventh scientific seminar on the assessment of levels of pollution in the agricultural lands adjacent to the private river inside the city of Kirkuk, in the presence of specialized researchers and a number of teachers and students.The symposium dealt with a number of scientific researches related to the pollution of the water from the old water and the dumping of waste that cause contamination of agricultural lands adjacent to the sides of the private river, and the transfer of some diseases when eating vegetables that are irrigated through sewage.The symposium recommended the need to address multiple environmental pollution cases in order to maintain a pure disease-free environment and to assure farmers not to irrigate agricultural crops from sewage, to comply with health regulations and to urge citizens not to throw rubbish near a private river.pollution01
