The letter presented by Lizan Ahmed Saleh included the assessment of the geotechnical properties of the Anjana and the resulting bricks, the evaluation of the same characteristics of the cement blocks supported with the addition of the plaster material, the comparison of the results and the importance of the specifications of each type.The study showed an inverse relationship between the water content and the number of drying days of the pressed block models and the positive relationship between the number of drying days and the thickness of the clay blocks produced without additional materials. The study also showed a 9% increase in the compressive resistance of the clay bricks after adding 15% of the plaster.The researcher recommended conducting a detailed geotechnical study for other sites to show the validity of the use of its soil, not the production of compacted brick blocks. He urged the ministries and related institutions to exploit the product to build less expensive housing complexes and to emphasize environmental institutions to raise awareness of the use of this environment-friendly industry in the construction of buildings.
