University of Kirkuk holds a scientific symposium on hemorrhagic fever and ways of transmission

The college of Medicine at the University of Kirkuk held a scientific seminar on hemorrhagic fever and ways of transmission and its symptoms and ways of prevention, in the presence of students and faculty members.

The symposium included two axes: the first about the definition of the disease and the ways of transmission and prevention, its causes and types and the second axis of the actions required to work to prevent the disease and avoid its appearance as well as the role of the animal in the transmission of the disease.
The symposium concluded the need to form committees of the relevant departments to combat the causes of the disease from external parasites and prevent the phenomenon of indiscriminate slaughter and identification within the modern massacres that are subject to control and veterinary supervision, as well as the prevention of grazing in the city and the organization of media campaigns to raise public awareness of the disease and ways of transmission and the role of home in the border Of its spread, and avoid raising and harboring animals.
