University of Kirkuk holds a scientific lecture on Botulinum poisoning and use in cosmetic operations (Botox)

The college of Science at the University of Kirkuk held a scientific lecture on botulinum toxin between the disease and beauty, written by Prof. Esra Zainal.

The lecture addressed the definition of botulinum toxin, as a type of toxin produced by bacteria called colstridiam potellinium, its chemical structure and mechanism, its use in botox, and its other uses in the treatment of diseases.
The lecture showed that botulinum toxin relaxes the muscles of the body and disrupts the arrival of pulses between the central nervous system and the various muscles, as well as how doctors benefit from these toxins and use in the form of injections Botox in many areas of medical and cosmetic.
