University of Kirkuk holds a scientific lecture on the latest developments of heart disease

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Kirkuk held a scientific lecture on the latest developments of heart diseases delivered by Dr. Sabah Humaid Zangana (dean of the College) in the presence of students and faculty members.

The lecture dealt with all the developments related to heart disease and showed that the treatment of chronic heart disease by modern drugs, including drugs that reduce the proportion of cholesterol in blood is equivalent to the results of treatment of these diseases by cardiac catheterization and placing stents inside the arteries of the heart. The lecture referred to the latest developments in the technique of imaging the deposition within the arteries of the heart (Plaque) and how to use this technique in the treatment of coronary heart disease.

The lecture included a number of recommendations: "Quitting smoking and tobacco in all its products and forms, treating diseases and other health imbalances, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes, exercise for at least 30 minutes daily, and on days of the week, reducing saturated fat and salt, Tension.
