On the occasion of World Human Trafficking Day..

College of Agriculture/Hawija, an instructive lecture on human trafficking

The College of Agriculture/Hawija at Kirkuk University organized an advisory lecture under the title “Human Trafficking and Human Rights,” with the participation of the dean, employees, and students of the college.

The workshop, which was delivered by M.M., aimed to Thaer Mahmoud’s dedication to improving joint efforts to combat these crimes by discussing current challenges and strategies for prevention and protection, in addition to strengthening prosecution and national and international cooperation in this field, and raising awareness and education about the danger of human trafficking and promoting human rights, through organizing workshops and training. Participants discussed indicators of human trafficking, legal dimensions and means of protection, and how to deal with trafficking reports and refer them to the competent authorities.
