The College of Agriculture in Al-Hawija, University of Kirkuk, organized a seminar entitled "The Harms of Fruit and How to Avoid Them," with the participation of the dean, faculty members, and students of the college.
The seminar included two main topics, where both sides focused on the harms of excessive fruit consumption on the body. Excessive consumption of fructose found in most fruits leads to insulin resistance, obesity, and diabetes. This also leads to fat accumulation, disrupting the body's natural functions. While fruit is a savior for those who love sweets, excessive indulgence in anything can have adverse consequences, and the same applies to fruit.
