The College of Agriculture/Hawija at Kirkuk University organized a scientific symposium entitled “Biohydroponic Agriculture”, with the participation of the dean, employees and students of the college.
The symposium included two topics, in which both parties focused on the active hydroponic system, as it is the place where plant roots have direct access to nutrients through a water solution that is circulated through pumps. This system is more complex, so some farmers may find it complicated. The active system uses pumps. Which transports the nutrient solution from the reservoir to the roots, the excess solution that the roots cannot absorb is transported back to the reservoir.
