The College of Agriculture/Hawija at Kirkuk University organized a scientific symposium entitled “Public Money between Sharia and Law,” with the participation of the dean, employees, and students of the college.
The symposium included a lecture in which M.M. Osama Sattam Hammoud stressed the need not to attack public funds under any circumstances, adding that protecting public funds is the responsibility of the state, noting that jurists considered that money is a right of God Almighty, who is the owner of all people.
For his part, Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the College, stressed the necessity of having a plan that works according to mechanisms to implement a system on public money in institutions whose goal is to protect this money, because there can be a public system not only on money but also on the person himself.
