The College of Agriculture/Hawija organizes an educational seminar on combating terrorism

The College of Agriculture/Hawija at Kirkuk University organized an educational symposium under the title “Combat Terrorism,” with the participation  the dean, employees, and students of the college.

The symposium included a lecture in which Dr. Nayef Subhan Khalaf presented, most notably the concept of terrorism and its causes, the role of educational and university institutions in combating terrorism, as well as the role of the media in combating terrorism, extremism and ways to prevent it, in addition to discussing terrorism in Iraqi legislation.

For his part, Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the College, pointed out the necessity of activating the role of university youth in combating extremism and fighting terrorism, as well as coordination between universities and colleges in holding conferences, seminars and exchanging experience in the field of combating extremism.
