The College of Medicinal and Industrial Plants organizes a symposium on the motives of suicide

The Medicinal and Industrial Plants Department at Kirkuk University, in cooperation with Kirkuk Health Department, organized a symposium entitled "Motives for Suicide", with the participation of the dean, members and students of the college. The symposium, delivered by Dr. Sahar Mahdi Jabara, focused on the psychological and social factors that push some individuals to think about suicide, such as depression, social isolation and psychological stress, as well as focusing on preventive and therapeutic methods that can be taken to help people suffering from psychological problems, with an emphasis on the importance of psychological support from the family and society, and the role of psychological counseling in providing solutions to the problems faced by individuals.
