The Dean of the College of Medicinal and Industrial Plants, Prof. Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed, participated in the Third International Cooperative Conference on Modern Agricultural Technologies (ICCMA2024), which was held in Anbar Governorate during the period from October 9-10. The conference was attended by the President of Anbar University, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, and the Scientific Assistant to the President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Ali Muhammad Tamim, in addition to the deans of the faculties of agriculture from Iraqi universities and prominent academic figures. Researchers from 16 Arab and international countries also participated in the conference, making it a prominent international scientific event in the field of modern agricultural technologies. For his part, Prof. Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the College, expressed his pride in participating in the Third International Cooperative Conference on Modern Agricultural Technologies (ICCMA2024), noting that this conference represents an important opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge with researchers from different countries. He stressed the importance of adopting modern technologies to enhance agricultural production, noting that scientific cooperation between Iraqi and international universities is a fundamental pillar for developing the agricultural sector in Iraq. He also stressed the need to continue these conferences to develop local agricultural competencies and expand the horizons of scientific research in this field.
