The College of Medicinal and Industrial Plants organizes a lecture on the Speicher massacre

The Medical and Industrial Plants Department at Kirkuk University organized a lecture entitled "The Speicher Massacre", with the participation of the dean, members and students of the college.

The lecture, delivered by Dr. Nayef Subhan Khalaf, focused on the necessity of remembering this crime and honoring the martyrs, and working to consolidate national and human values ​​to ensure that such tragedies are not repeated in the future. It is considered one of the most heinous crimes that Iraq has witnessed in its modern history. It also focused on the details that claimed the lives of more than 1,700 students from the Speicher Air Base in 2014 at the hands of the terrorist organization ISIS.

Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed said, "The Speicher massacre is not just a heinous crime committed by terrorism, but rather a bleeding wound in the heart of Iraq and an integral part of our painful history. Today we commemorate those innocent martyrs who lost their lives in this horrific massacre, and we remember their courage and the patience of their families who did not lose hope in achieving justice.
