The College of Agriculture/Hawija discusses the project to establish a fodder blocks factory and stresses its importance for food security and supporting livestock

 The committee assigned by Prof. Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the College, met in cooperation with the representative of the Department of Agriculture and Agricultural Guidance, Dr. Mohamed Abbas Sadek, to discuss the project to establish a fodder blocks factory. The committee reached the main foundations for implementing the proposed plans and expanding communication with the relevant official authorities. The committee also decided to address the Council of Ministers to ensure the implementation of the project, given its importance in achieving food security and supporting livestock, especially in light of global climate fluctuations and rising feed prices in the markets, which enhances support for farmers and improves the animal production base. For his part, Prof. Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the College, expressed his great support for the project, stressing its importance in achieving food security and enhancing livestock. He stressed that the project will contribute effectively to supporting farmers by providing fodder at reasonable prices, especially in light of climate fluctuations and rising feed prices in the markets.
