The College of Agriculture/Hawija launches a program to maintain beehives and improve honey production to meet climate challenges

The College of Agriculture/Hawija at Kirkuk University announced its efforts to maintain and develop apiaries as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at improving the quality of honey production and keeping pace with climate challenges.

The college also cooperates with research institutions to develop beekeeping methods and improve apiary management, which contributes to enhancing the competitive capabilities of Iraqi products in local and international markets. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to enhance agricultural sustainability and confront climate change.
