The College of Agriculture/Hawija at Kirkuk University organized a scientific symposium entitled “Afforestation and the role of agriculture in reducing the impact of climate change in Kirkuk Governorate,” with the participation of the dean, employees and students of the college.
The symposium included two topics, in which both parties focused on the importance of afforestation and the role of agriculture in combating climate change, and drawing attention to practical solutions and measures that can be taken to reduce the effects of climate change. The symposium also aims to exchange knowledge and experiences between experts and those interested in this field, and to encourage cooperation to implement projects. Afforestation and agriculture contribute to building more sustainable societies that are resistant to climate challenges in the future.
